I am a board-certified family medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, urgent and hospital medicine, and addiction treatment. My clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine and a patient-centered approach, guiding individuals and families through preventive care, acute medical issues, and the complex challenges of substance use disorders.
My work is built on trust, compassion, and continuity of care. Whether providing routine checkups, same-day urgent visits, or comprehensive treatment for opioid use disorder, I strive to create a safe, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, treatment plans are transparent, and recovery is achievable.
Beyond clinical practice in New York, I am deeply committed to advancing health equity through medical outreach programs and community engagement initiatives. As the founder of Lebarty Community Health Foundation and Project Health Africa, I lead efforts to deliver free medical services, health education, and preventive care to underserved populations. These initiatives extend internationally, with a focus on rural and low-resource communities in Africa, where we organize health fairs, mobile clinics, and chronic disease management programs. I also leverage telehealth to expand access to care, ensuring that geography and socioeconomic barriers do not limit patients’ ability to receive timely, quality medical attention.
